Karen Tucker, relates to these ideas as she fulfills her dream. . .politics. Working toward her goals, Karen attended the Youth Leadership Conference with the Danforth Association on November 15, 19785 she was recog- nized in the Springfield newspaper for outstanding abilities in a story Teen Profile. Karen is also involved in Iunior Achievement, Cabinet position, and many other activities. Karen plans to attend law school and also hopes to work for the Federal Government.

Not only were the partici- pants able to get involved but also the spectators took part. Viewers enjoyed the thrill of seeing the mighty Chiefs pull out a victory, and each learned to accept defeat with good sportsmanship. Spectators also enjoyed entertainment provided by the Golden Arrow Marching Band as well as the Bonnies and Pom Pon girls. Cheerleaders sparked spirit while leading a record number of people in chants and cheers. They also promoted spirit through the spirit stick and spirit towels.
