re- es I I '!lQv1'f'I'5E'S - 7 Y -ll- Tbe fzmiom UNDER the eflicient supervision of Miss Kate Bellinger, thejuniors of '19 have excelled in all school activities. We organized in October, electing Clyde Wagner as presidentg Helen Regnet, secretaryg Bernice Helfer, viceipresident, and Melvin Camrnan, treasurer. During the year we sold T. . S. pencils with the sports schedules printed on them. This has been our sole source of revenue. Perhaps it will be enough to defray the exg-:uses of our Hrst bigjunior party, May 3. ur two representatives to the Student Council are Bernice Helfer and William Mosher. We are doing our best to establish this council, and sincerely hope for SUCCCSS . We are garoud that a Junior English class helped to win the first qrize in the Niagara I Frontier ontest. All Juniors qarticipated in the Flag Contest. n the skating con- test between T. H. S. and N. . H. S. held in February, Bill Mosher and Theresa! Gromlovits each won a pair of skates. . . . . . . I The Juniors have been active in the athletic line, furnishing members to all of the teams. We won the inter-class swimming meet, and in the State Tournament, Bill Mosher captured a medal. ln closing, we wish the graduating class of '19 greatest success, and feel sure they I will be a credit to our Alma Mater. W' '53 'AI-' lg? - gif The .Siopbomovfef IT hardly seems possible, but Regents are at hand, which means that a good many Sophomores will be turning a good many pages if they expect to become Juniors in June. The Sophomore activities have been many. First, we elected officers. Gabe Lasky, of course, was elected president, Junky Smith, vice-president, Doris Strope, secretary, and Jimmie Robinson, treasurer. On Washinigton's birthday, we had a party which was a huge success. The gym was decorate in honor of the occasion. Pat Dreyer, that decorator, obtained most of the flags from the armory. Every one had a wonderful time. The Sophomores are proud of their basketball team. In the inter-class meet, they proved their ability by winning all the games they played. We are also proud of our class pins. They keep us from being classed with the Freshmen, thus losing our dignity. On the whole, it has been a good year and none of us will regret that we were sophomores this year.
