journey to the hills of South Dakota and here we find Jimmy Lewis prospecting for gold. We wish him luck and continue on to Hartington, Nebraska, where we find the former Bonnie Hersey, now Mrs. Paul Barnes, very busy raising little Barnes'. We now get closer to home as we enter the sunflower state of Kansas. We notice the large school in Topeka and decide to stop awhile. In the gymnasium we find Jennet Grossman teaching girls' physical education, Iennet says she doesn't have too many gray hairs yet. As night begins to come on, we begin to want to see home so we hurry on. Oh, but we have one more stop! We must stop and see 1513 Berry and her husband, Donald, who now live in Kansas City, Missouri. We find that they have their hands full raising their boys basketball team. We bid them adieu and we are ready to return once more to good old Keytesville to our hornes. Senior Prophecy The Junior Class of 1953-54 don their super-sonic space helmets and travel into outer space, entering into the year 1959. Our first stop is in good old Keytesville where we see by Smith, who is now the sole owner of Garner's Used Car Lot. After talking for awhile we travel on to the Salisbury Depot where we find Chariton County's most up and coming depot agent, Q Bentley. Since Billy Jack is very busy, we soon shove off to Missouri University in Columbia where we find Tommy gy who will soon become Dr. Thomas J. Coy, We now bid Tommy good -bye and travel on to St. Louis and guess who we find as secretary to the Cardinals' manager? None other than M1123 Padgett. She informs us of the big game which starts in just 15 minutes between the Cardinals and the Yankees. Martha is all set to go so she ac- companies us to Busche Stadium where we see the teams warming up, We all look again! Can that be Donald Rodgers pitching for the Cardinals! Yes, Martha says we are certainly right and she should know, since she is Donald's steady. After talking to Donald after the game, we again board our plane and head toward Illinois. We stop first at Springfield where we find Elly Dowell running a poultrv farm. While talldng to Ray, we find that some of the class members live in Chicago, Illinois, which is our next stop. Atter settling the plane in Chicago, we walk down the street to see the sign Preston Nursery . Yes, Iwi Preston is running a day nursery. After looking it over and saying good -bye, we walk on down the street and guess who we meet? Virgil Enyeart. Virgil tells us that he is now the owner of a model agency here in the big city of Chicago. We soon bid the big city and Virgil good -bye and again board our super-sonic plane. This time we're New York bound. In New York City, we visit the scientists' laboratories where we find none other than Charles Stevenson. Charles is now working on a cure for xyrninoprtue. Charles reminds us that Lennie Johns on, now Mrs. Jack Lukehart, is also in New York, We say good-bye and continue to see Lennie and Jackie. After talking awhile, we find that Jackie is running a brokerage agency. We wish them lots of luck and again board our plane, this time for Hampton, New Jersey. As we fly along we see a large dairy farm and decide to explore a little farther. As we approach, we see a sign which reads like this: Little Jersey Dairy Farm , As we go a little farther we see the owner of this big farm. He is none other than George Henry Lamg. We look over the cattle and then we have to be on our way. We say good -bye and move down the coast to the southern tip of the U.S. Of course. we mean Florida. Here we stop near Miami Beach where we find Q Taylor doing no less than running an earthworm farm. Ray says he recieved a letter from an old classmate who is now in Venezula. He refuses to tell us who it is, but he does tell us where to find this mysterious person. When we arrive an oil salesman starts trying to sell us sorne oil stock. This could be only one person. George Wahlbrink. He tells us later that it is really phoney oil stock. Well, that's too much, so we say good -bye and travel next to the state of Arkansas. We stop at its capitol, where we find Agnes L1-lrili shopping. She informs us that she is secretary to the Best -Rock Gravel Company. We bid Agnes good -bye and again board our super-sonic plane. This time we head for the good old state of Texas. We stop at the air force base in Lackland, where we find none other than Ardyth Huckabey. We look over the base and is it a whopperf Well, they alwavs told us everything was a little bigger in Texas. We now cut across the southern part of our fine country to California. The boys spot a large men's store in Los Angeles. They want to look through it, so, ofcourse, we girls tag along. Here we find the store's no. 1 sales girl, Louella Larnpe. As we don't have much time. we hurry on to Las Vegas, Nevada, where we find who else but Jebby Rush, owner of the Central Follies. After spending a few minutes with him, we resume our journey and now to Colorado. This time we visit the small town of Needles, Colorado, where we see the sign, Troxel Grocery . Yes, that's right. Leslie Troxel is the owner of this grocery store and his excellent cashier is the former Harlean Shoop. From here we 1 ...'i.L..lzn..i.l
