i.,Pe'Mi,. ' l J J ,J Senior Class History In early September 1942, seven scared, but happy children entered the doors of K. G. S. They were Billy Bentley, Virgil Enyeart, Jane Miller, Agnes Link, Martha Padgett, Roy Smith and Tommy Coy. Tommy left us the first semester of the first year and returned in a later year. As the years passed these pupils .ii . .3 welcomed others. . George Wahlbrink joined us in our second year of school. X Our third year of school, Ray Dowell joined us and Tommy Coy returned. Our luck couldn't last forever, because during our fourth and fifth grades no one enrolled. Ardyth Huckabey joined us our sixth grade, qt ,I ti In our seventh grade we began to grow up, or so we thought. Two new students, Jennet Grossman and Charles Stevenson, came to increase our en- i rollment. ' Q Then comes our last year of grade school. Lennie Johnson joins us at this time. This year we leave grade school and move up the ladder of education to our Freshman year. We now feel we are ready to enter high school. Entering with us are Bonnie Hershey, George Henry Lampe, Louella Larnpe, Keith Preston, Ray Taylor and Jimmy Lewis. We finally struggled through our Freshman year even with initiation. Three new students came our Sophomore year to study with us. They were: Donald Rodgers, Leslie Troxel and Jebby Rush. H Our Junior year we entertained the Seniors with the Junior -Senior Prom. Now we are almost finished with xour twelve years of school. We are looking forward to our Senior trip, baccalaureate and last of all, but best of all, gradu- ation.
