Reflections . . . Pictured in the stillness of time As laughter and heartbreak, Triumph and failure- They are mirrored In the deep, dark Waters of the Past. Yet, in the Past We begin, For Today is but a reflection- One of all that has gone before And of all that should come after So we walk cautiously ' In the Present, Sometimes glancing at the Past To learn what has made us so. strait

Dedication Mr. Philip E. Babel The KEYSTONE yearbook pauses to honor a man who has been a part of Keystone for the past eight years. A man well-known, respected, and remembered by students and alumni alike, is also known to the world outside the campus. He retired from active duty in the United States Army as a Major. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from St. Mary's University and his Master of Arts degree from Trinity University. On campus Mr. Babel has always been the friendly, helpful person known as Min History . As sponsor of the National Honor Society, his service has been an inspiration. He has served additionally as a class sponsor every year. As testimony to his devotion to Keystone and the proper history education of its students he returnefl from sabbatical leave ahead of time when he was needed. For his outstanding contributions to the building of a greater Keystone, the staff proudly dedicates this 1972 yearbook to him.
