ELANU Stage Crew Without the Stage Crew, under the sponsorship of Mr. Wm. Reed, Varieties, Musicale, and the Senior Class Play, would not be possible. The club members are responsible for lighting, scenery, and they also set up the necessary props for each function. These behind the scene members facilitate the workin pre- senting all school productions. Paint Crew Upon the selection of the Varieties theme, the Paint Crew, under the direction of Mr. Wm. Reed, begins designing the scenery. The several sketches are then enlarged to cover an entire wall in the gymnasium. This vast piece of artwork is the result of months of preparation and hard work. When it is fianally finished, everyone agrees that the Paint Crew's efforts are vital to the success of Varieties. 159

The goal for this year was to concentrate on a personal, home, community, and international life, taking one aspect of life each nine weeks. As Future Teachers, the members have the opportunity to hear speakers, visit and observe other schools, see movies, attend local and state-wide conventions, and help sponsor school activities such as Open House, the Valentines Dance, and Teaching Career Month in April with a dinner for the teachers.
