A - -- A Librar lub The Library Club, under the guidance of Mr. Cravotta, strives to promote interest in the use of the library, an understanding of the inner workings of the library, and to en- courage those students, who are un:- deoided as to their future,to consider the field of librarianship as acareer. Any student, interested inthis activity is always welcome to become a part of the club. Officers are: President: Sigrid Booth, Vice President: Carol Brown, Secretary: Melissa Lamb, Treasurer: Edie McHenry, and Public Relations Liason Officer: Jacki Swearingen. Chervanka. -A -7 -7- , KFFTC C' L ..-l The Red Cross Club is a group of ambitious stu:- dents, who devote a lot of their time to helping others. Their sponsors, Mrs. Dau and Mrs. Shull, guide them in their many and various activities throughout the year. Filling Christmas stockings and putting on a Varieties show for several hospitals are only two of the many worth-S while activities done by these students. 145

To inform Keystone Oaks High School students of school events, achievements, problems and activities is the job of the Keynote, the school newspaper. The edi- torial stagff, under the direction of Mr. Harry Graff, Write, edit, and publish a monthly paper for this purpose. 4, The business staff, sponsored by Miss Eleanor Onest campaign for subscribers, sell advertisements , and distribute the paper. A representative from the Keynote attended the Junior Press Club conference this year. The views of notable persons visiting the Pittsburgh area .were included in its monthly issues.
