I s S IIIIIIIA x P x D 5 'sz ,g g E QQ The student body and faculty enjoyed a number of entertaining programs throughout the school year On Friday, October 22, we were happy to see a marionette show, under the direction of Mr Graham This provided many laughs for both the older and the younger people The evening of December l7, was the date of the g eat magician show, with Ambrose, as the star This program was held to raise money for work on our an nual, The U9 ers Ambrose, the Magician had almost everyone bewildered as they left the Keystone auditorium that evening His magic was more than enter taining Some of the members of the audience, who participated in the program will remember his tricks for a long time On December 16, our school had the priviledge of hearing a music program given by Mr Dwight Wood, a baritone singer, accompanied on the piano by his uife His program included many beautiful and favorite songs, which were enjoy ed by all Chief Min esota provided an educational program when he visited us one morning Dr Brown's lyceum number dealt with his liquid air demonstrations A series of movies were also held They always help to make school more pleasant The annual school carnival was held on October 8, in the school gym Tb start the evening off right a one act play was given by the Ham Actors Club on a stage in the assembly Other entertainment was provided by various students Then came the real fun with the Bingo stand, Penny Pitch, T119 Throw, Darts, Athletic show and other sources of entertainment Of course, the food stand al ways proved to be a popular place with everyone Door prizes were won by sever- al people, and a twenty pound turkey was given to the person who purchased the lucky chance, All in all, the carnival was a success JUNIOR PLAY The Junior class presented a 3 act play, Friday evening, Novem- ber 12, in the school auditorium 'Just Ducky' was a comedy, and pro vided many laughs It was under the direction of Miss Betty Wolfe The cast Hrs Maxwell Aunt Mary Miss Blayne Connie Bernadine Betty Lou Hercules Craig Moore Wilbur- Mr Moore Del Marshall Committee Man Grace Feuerbach Darlene Houska Dixie Plppert Ilene Pickart Dorothy Brant Madonna Posusta Ernest Dvorak Danny Slaymaker Duane Kromminga Dick Junge Gerald Howe Virgil Posusta SENIOR PLAY The Senior class present ed a 3 act play, Friday Even ing, May 6 in the school gym nasium 'Ghost Wanted' was a mystery comedy, which provided laughs as well as thrills The play was under the directionet The cast Hugo Bromley Bud Selk Jeff Hall Kenneth Struck Troddy Ivadell Salk Ginger Stormgay Barbara Eggers Gale Stormgay Mary Jean Cantwell Hatcher- Marlyn Haack Granny Kate Marilyn Junge Professor Duane Albertsen Madame Zolga Elaine Kruckenberg Azelea Nadine Belk Nora Vane Mardean Seeck Mr Bradshaw Robert Wayman Prompter Doris Eichmeyer 'I Ii' ..-...-....,I I I I x ' 3 . -H ., ' ,' J : I O I I I ? .. .
