The eight members of the public school, were Mary Jean Cant- well, Kenneth Danker, Barbara Eggers, Billy Ray Junge, Marilyn Junge, Bud Belk and Kenneth Struck were joined by nine members who came from parochial school. These were Duane Albertsen, Richard Braksiek, Robert Boehmke, Marlyn Haack, Olga Holst, Dale Junge, Elaine Kruckenberg, Dwight Liddle, and Bob Oehlerich. Others joining were Richard Deppe from Cedar Rapids, Edward Brandt from Belle Plaine, James Brant from Kane No.U, Doris Eichmeyer from Union No.9, Mardean Beeok and Nadine Selk from Homer No.8, and Ivadell Selk from Kane No. 2. Pilot of this plane was Barbara Eggers and co-pilot was Billy Ray Junge. Business helpers included Richard Braksiek as secretary and treasurer and Mary Jean Cantwell as reporter Those in pep club were Mary Jean Cantwell, Doris lichmeyer and Elaine Kruckenberg Barbs1 Eggers served as cheerleader The glee club of the Key stone Airline Waves has eight of our girls singing with it These were Mary Jean C ntwell, B rbara Eggers, Dolls Elchmeyer, Marilyn Junge, Elaine Krucken berg, M rdean Seeck, Ivadell Selk and Nadine Selk Our boys participated in both basketball and baseball Those in b seball were Robert Boehmke, Richard Br ksiek, Bob Oehlerich and Bud Selk Kenneth Danker was asst manager Bas- ketball players were Robert Boehmke, Richard Brakslek, Billy Hay Junge, Bob Oeh lerich and Bud Belk with Kenneth Danker as asst manager Mary Jean Cantwell was in both sextette and declamatory work that year This plane took a three month landing period and again started on a flight in September of l9L6 when this class was a group of sophomores This class was joined by Virgil Miner and M ry Lou Upah from Belle Plaine and Robert Wayman from Dysart Rich rd Deppe and Dwight Liddle dropped from this flight This ye r Marlyn Haack was elected pilot and Olga Hols was his co pilot Billy Ray Junge was secretary and treasurer and Barbara Eggers was reporter Robert Boehmke, Rich rd Braksiek, Bob Oehlerich, Bud Selk, and Robert Wayman reported for baseball with Kenneth Danker as their manager Robert Boehmke, Richard Braksiek, Billy Ray Junge, Dale Junge, Bob Oehlerich, Bud Selk, and Robert Way man showed their skill ir basketb ll with Kenneth Danker as manager Barbara Eggers, our cheerle der, helned the pep clubbers, Mary Jean Cantwell, Elaine Kruckerbrrg M rdear Beech, rd M ry Lou Uoah back the team with yells Fur nlshing music or the tour were Mary Je n Cantwell, Barbara Eggers, Doris Eich meyer, Marilyn Junge, Elaine Kruckenberg, Mardean Seeck, Ivedell Selk and Nadine Selk N ry Jean Cantwell w s elected by her fellow schoolmates as a candidate ferve- I 4 .
