We are concerned primarily with what you may become after graduation,
the kind of home-maker you are, the kind of citizen you are, the kind of worker
you are, the kind of real

We turn to the man behind the headlines. . . C. M. Clvfaxl Plais-
ted, our director of public relations. . .for establishing Keuka in
the minds of the public in all the aspects so important to us. . .for
his understanding of student problems and sound, willing advice,
. . .for his sense of humor and cooperation. . .for his ready assist-
ance to all student publications.
In his deep voice and surface brusqueness he represents the
characteristic publicity man. ln his frank and thoughtful opinions
and sincere interest in his work he is that.

the future Keuka owes to him we can only guess. For his part in

A Message from the Dean
Kiondaga recalls what seniors most wish to remember. Except to Keukonians
this issue will seem like many others. But tor you it has its own distinction, its
particular flavor as it recalls your class mates, your Arion, your clubs, your
government, your class prophecy. To all these you have given your class per-
sonality. As you leave us, the imprint of that personality will continue in its
effects on many activities. l hope you will enjoy remembering that one ot your
special contributions to Keuka was the education of a new dean-an education
that only seniors, Well-versed in the ways ot Keuka, could give. For that educa-
tion, my thanks, and to you, my good Wishes as your take with you into a larger
society, that spirit of the enjoyment ot Work and of play which these pages
