Crowned Stevens County Rodeo Princess At the Addy Grange Hall, Julie Clinton was chosen on the following point system: 501, on tickets, 4079 on horse tryouts, and 10'Zn on speech and personality. Julie and Teresa in Special Honors For the Wool princess to be chosen she must be either in 4-H or a daughter of Tri-County Wool Producer. Princess Teresa Hirsch made her appearance at ban- quets, parades, and at the Northeast Washington Fair. She represents products of wool and lamb. She was supported by the Tri-County Wool Producers. Christy Matlock Julie Clinton Liz Adams Rod Haynes Mark Gribble Rod Brauner Bulldogs Win 46-43 in Overtime Game Saturday, January 6, the Homecoming game was held in the gym of Kettle Falls High School. That night the Bulldogs played Chewelah. At the end of the game, 3 minutes was needed for overtime. It was a close game, now with the score of 41-41. In the 3 minutes remaining, the Bulldogs scored 3 more points. The victory was ours with the final score of 46-43. Homecoming Dance Draws Crowd After the game, a dance was held in the Multipurpose Room, music played by Orphan Annie. At 11:30 the music stopped. Three girls with co-captains walked proudly out on the floor. They were Christy Matlock-- Rod Haynes, Julie Clinton--Mark Gribble, and Liz Adams-- Rod Brauner. Of the three, Liz Adams was chosen Homecom- ing Queen with Rod Brauner, co- captain. Her princesses were Julie Clinton and Christy Matlock. CARNIVAL ROYALTY The night of Jan. 26, 1973, Carnival Royalty was crowned. Our Carnival was canceled this year because of lack of interest, so crowning took place the night of the Riverside game. At half time, with the score of 26-46, the gym was suddenly quiet. The four couples walked out on the floor as follows: 4th place Seniors Randy Lindsey Pam Schmidt 3rd place Juniors Jess Borders Jackie Bergquist 2nd place Sophomores Edwin White Vicki Campbell lst place Freshman Barry Beardslee Debbie Gaboury The freshman won, this year, with the selling of over 1, O00 tickets. The total amount made, off Carnival tickets was 3400.
