Nuclear Medicine: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist assists the physician ’ in the application of radioactive materials (dye inserted in the veins to produce appropriate test results) for diagnosis and treatment of patients and the study of human diseases. Radiation Therapy: The Radiation Therapist performs all phases of radiation therapy treatment while under the supervision of an oncology physician.
