SENIOR CLASS PROP!-IEC Y On a sunny May lZth day in l954 the senior class of 1948 held their annual reunion on the banks of Lake Keswick near the renowned city of that same name. The honored guest was H. C. Ensminger, the class's former superintendent who is now the famous multi-millionaire. The first to arrive was Glenn Raplinger, who now operates a barber salon in Chicago and specializes in hair restoring. Next to come was Mr. and Mrs. Rex Bowman who now live in New York City and are owner and manager of the Matrimonial Bureau. Mrs. Bowman is the former Dolores Keener. Soon came Earl Craig who, if you tune in to the Lucky Strike Program you can hear his tobacco auctioneer's chant. He has replaced Orville Blew and does an excellent job. Next, in his stetson and cowboy boots, came Harold ftwo-gunl Ensminger, the once hard-riding rodeo star, and now owns a dude ranch in Arizona. Arriving in her Cadillac is Florence Craig, who is now writing love stories for True Story Magazine. We hear it pays very well. Florence is the only old maid of the class of '48. Stepping out of a new Lincoln, we see Bob Meeks and his lovely Eskimo bride. Bob has just returned from prospecting in the Yukon. Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Greene arrived soon from Miami, Florida. Mrs. Greene, the former Emma Butenschoen, raises white mice for thewor1d's leading scientists. Dashing up next on horseback comes John Laux. John is very successful in athletics, winning national honors in track, baseball and broad jumping. He is also a professional basketball player. Then out of a clear blue sky dropped Alberta Fridley Haymes by para- chute. She has been singing with her husband Dick, for the past three years. Last, as in school days, Albert Means gets there at the last second. Al is now chief mechanic at General Motors and is doing great. After an enjoyable dinner they all agreed to return to the enormous lake the following year.
