Editors-Linda Russell and Candy Ezell Zrrcward Dear Yellow Jackets of K. H.S.: I believe I am writing this to some of the greatest teenagers in the world: the members of the student bodies of Kermit Junior and Senior Highs! The fact that Kermit High School has twice been president of the Texas Association of Student Councils in recent years elps to bear this statement out. I realize that included in our student body are all kinds: the good, the bad, and the indifferent - but the great maiority are a credit to your parents, the school, the state, and the nation. I believe in you, individually and as a group. The graduating seniors have furnished much leadership. This mantle of excellence must be assumed by present underclassmen. The problems of the day are many, yet never has the opportunity been greater for those of you who are willing to accept a role of responsible citizenship. Reflected in this Sandstorm are many activities, the memory of which will bring back names and faces, joys and disappointments, successes and failures. Such is life itself as you will live it.
