TOMMY THOMPSON Superintendent Dear Students and Faculty: It is an honor as well as a pleasure to write a few words in this, the Yearbook for 1949, These pictures in our Sandstorm will always be cherished for the memories that they bring back of dear old K. H. S., and I know that I will be referring back to them to refresh my memories of the fine people they represent. Our school is fine, yet it can only be as great as you, indi- vidually, are great. Be a good citizen, be true to the things that your parents and teachers have taught youg be as loyal as adults as you have been as students, do not forget K. H, S. Do something as your life work that you can enjoy doing, and give your best efforts to make it successful. For those of you that graduate, we will be pulling for you, and for those of you who remain, we will expect a better school and a better student body because of you. Sincerely, Tommy Thompson ADMINISTRATIO Ahh. H 71' ' RUBY WARREN Secretary l 'Q BERTHA I-IAHN Secretary W. T. VARNELL, Jr. High School Principal G. L.
