She is always ready to answer your questions, that is if it is not on a test. Mrs. Knox received her AB degree from Eastern New Mexico College, did grad- uate work at Texas Tech and Sul Ross State Teachers College, LT ll., fi i s ELIZABETH MORRIS Want to know who wrote Crossing the Bar or Thariatopsis ? lust ask Mrs. Morris. She has taught English in KHS for two years, Mrs. Morris is an excellent musician. She received her BA degree from Austin College and did graduate work at Texas Tech and Kidd-Key, CLYDE MARTIN Football, biology, or history, it makes no difference to Mr. Martin, because he has taught all of them. He was A squad assistant coch during football season and teaches biology. He is always smiling and friendly, he has taught here for a year and a half. Coach Martin has an AB degree from Trin- ity University, and did graduate work at Rice Institute and Denver University.

On these pages you will find re- flected the activities of clubs and departments, the cooperation of classes, the teams, the achievements of the K band, and a likeness of the two hundred and fifty loyal students that make Kermit High School the best in the land. Interwoven through- out the whole pattern we find a loyal, co-operative, friendly and helpful faculty group, sincerely in- terested in youth, its problems, its attainments, its failures, and its am- bitions. MAI.LIE CARTER One watching Girls' PE classes Wonders who is having most the fun-the teacher or the girls. Her winning smile has made her a favorite. Miss Carter, coach of the volleyball team, has taught in Kermit for two years. She received her BS degree from Sul Ross State Teachers' College. tru 4' t uh ,V 1 ix E: LAURA BOEDEKER Como esta usted? or how are you? Either saluutation will be answered by Mrs, Boedeker who teaches both Spanish and English. Her students appreciate her ready wit and smile. A new comer this year, she is readily becoming a favorite. She received Tier BA from Southwest State Teachers' Col- ege. X , Q FACULTY C. E. CHRISTIAN Whether it's football or basketball or gym, Coach Cricket is tops. Although this is his first year at KHS, he has already set a record for himself and Kermit with his leadership of our boys in the sports world. 'c I U I if IOYCE BELL Miss Bell is that cute teacher from Wink. You will always find her supervising work on the Yellow Iacket or the annual. Any other time you may find her directing a play or teaching English, speech, and journalism, her favorite. This is her first year of teaching at KHS. She received her Bl degree from the University of Texas.
