During one day we went to Colombia State Park. It was just like being in the old West. We also went to IVIercer's Cavern near IVlurphy's California. Here we had an opportunity to see the wonders of nature under the surface ofthe earth. The group had been divided and as we toured Colombia and Mercer's Cavern, the other group was taking part in nature hikes and forest studies. The evening hours were confined to camp with such activities as recreation, music and classroom studies. The lighter side of the weeklong trip were the after hours events. A time for relaxation for the students and counsellors alike. The counsellors were allowed to use the gym and the students, Well, let's just say the pillows saw a lot of action. Fun and Adventure?
