Nineteen hundred and Seventy-three, was indeed a year of emotions. The KYNO Dance Contest pulled school spirit together early in the year. With hopes high for winning, the student body suHered the harsh set-back of not even reaching the top eight. The football team under new coach Leonard Mazorra, rallied the support of the community and school early in the sports season. Tension was high as the Lions approached that deciding home-coming game against Caruthers. Kerman High was sprinkled with new faces both on the faculty and in the student body, along with those new faces, came a new and more lively spirit to the school. EMO TIONS' The Juniors faced the state-required tests with the nonchalance of, I've got another year, while the Seniors sweated through them to graduate, still thinking forward to their college entrance tests. The Freshmen as usual, wandered around campus with bewildered facesg while the Sophomores settled into their newfound routine, to wait out the final three years. . . .each with his own identity. aff'
