MADE I APAN YUTAKA SUZUKAWA This year's foreign exchange student was Yutaka Suzukawa, from Japan, Yutaka came from Taiyo-Village fbig oceany, a coastal town located about 50 miles north of Tokyo, Coming from a farming family, Yutaka found it fairly easy to adapt to Kerman's agricultural environment, He spent the year living at me Herman Scheidt residence with two American brothers and one sister - Doug 21, Russ 17, and Kathy 15. This was the second consecutive year the Scheidts had a foreign exchange student stay with them, On campus, Yutaka made a point to attend most activities and was very conscientious about his classwork, Although he confessed that he was confused by American football, Yutaka became an avid fan and one of the loudest rooters, He took a great interest in the functions of Student Council, comparing them with his school counci1's activities. Upon his return home in August, Yutaka will be completing his final semester of high school, He hopes to continue to a university to study electrical engineering, 1 .
