The usual roar that accompanies returning to school, did not occur until Kay Gaetjens joined our midst late that morning. The class, as a whole, very actively took part in intramurals and extra-curricular activities. Among them being cheerleading, girl's and boy's basketball, chorus, and band. Our first social event was a sock-hop in the school gymansium. The flhahiest of socks were sported and although we d1dn't do so well financially, it was a huge success from he fun viewpoint. After this first venture we sponsored noon time movies and a couple more dances. For the most part our year was a complete success for us, con- cluded by the gay adventure of our class trip.
