Nevrfcirk For the first time in the history of Kerhonkson High School, we played inter scholastic touchfootball. The backfield was not in shape and some time had to be put in on it by the students under the supervision of Mr. Farnsworth and Mr. Newkirk. Mr. Newkirk did a fine job in getting a squad who never played football before, into shape for competition. Although only two games were scheduled, both with New Paltz, which were lost 18-6 and 24-12, better things are planned for next year. It is hoped that come next fall, Kerhonkson will be playing six man tackle football in a league with the rest of the NOSU mem- bers. Co-Captains: Dick Proper Vernon Proper

Since we are once again playing baseball for the first time in several seasons, no one knows just what to expect this Spring. Mr. Newkirk started practice with all nine positions open. Every one is hoping we '111 have a winning percentage. As in all other sports, we are competing in the NOSU league, whose mem- bers are, Highland, New Paltz, Marlbloro, Wallklll, and Kerhonkson. Be- sides two games apiece with each of these teams, we have a two game schedule with K.H.S.'s arch rival, Ellenville. s3 Qi ' - 4.- ?4aLf5',1 rift 11714 gg - -- , ' ,., ' fra Y ff 1.1 , , J. .
