SENIOR PROPHECY 'Twenty years into the future, Mistresses and Masters? 'Tis nothing for an experienced Genii like your humble ser vant' Just say 0L1cnuoc Serif' Much more effective than that old fashioned WOpen, Sesame? Never had much faith in such a story, anyway But, Aladdin now, there was a real thriller due again, if I may say so, to your humble servan W What? You needn't be in such a hurry That was another thing about Aladdin he was really quite a patient fellow Not that I'm crltizing my dear Class of 47, understand W All right, all right' WLicnuoc Serif' Twenty years into the future W Pouf' 'Here we are Don't get so excited' Nothing to it I told you Experience is what you need Aladdin was this way at first But O K Lets' go This is Greenville, you know Ever see that fellow over there with the friendly grin? Can't miss, Erankie Green even after twenty years, can you? That training as Student Council President surely helped him He's been Mayor here for about 10 years,Crunning the city on atomic power exclusivelyl ever since he came back from the Caribbean with the Pirate gold he found on one of the islands Don' understand how he stays single with that grin and the money Still keeping all the girls happy, I guess Lives upstairs over Mggklglg Milk Bar, I hear Kenny moved out into the country because it got a little crowded with three growing children He married the girl from P'keepsie, You know oh, I forgot You don't know, do you? Well, he did That house is closer to the school, too We must stop by that institution, by the way One of the most progressive in the state, I'll tell you Remember when Buthiq Cohen and Marilyn Meshkow used to talk about Wtheir School Well, it certainly has turned into something worth talking about N And guess who has become dean out there? Ginny Decker' think? I've heard, confidentially of course, that every student must take bookkeeping and play good basketball since she has taken over Oh, speaking of finance, Frankie Schordine is having some time supporting his private basketball squad, since the Mayor's atomic preserving center has antiquated his refrigerator Oh, ho' There's one thing they can't atomize even in 1967 See those beautiful tulips? They belong to Dr Miriam Brown and Lillian Stone, I'll call them by their maiden names You wouldn't recognize their married ones, no local boys They met a couple ofthelrpen pals in Holland That accounts for the beautiful tulip bulbs, too Don't you think Miriam must sound cute speaking Dutch with a Southern drawl?n Millig? I knew that Southern drawl would remind you you mean to tell me you haven't heard the 'Song of the South' on her nightly, television show? Why, 1t's all the rage since S1natra's crutches were lost two years ago Oh, I keep for getting' How could you see her? You don't know, either, then that she was introduced on the first telecast on Qick Proper'g new station He developed a new technique along with his partner M ris Maltg, They were both in your class, weren't they? I hear that the new process involves very little work for the engineers They need a new secretary now since Miss Every has chosen her perferred occupation as a housewife Nice occupation, you must admit W The most satisfied members of the Class of '47, that I ve heard of, anyway, have nice occupations, too Jimmy Allison and Charlie Lapp have fulfilled their ambitions to become Knights of the Road Jimmy rides the rails ln a tipped back chair, with no Migs Bgichert to haunt him, and Charlie, after deciding teaching was not for him, joined select crowd Say crowds re minds me You should see the crowds which attend the games Mar g ret Neff's team wins Her Girl All Stars are the sensation of the East ' Whoops, I hear Aladdin calling me I knew I was stayin too long Did I say he was patient? It certainly doesn't sound that way Sorry, kids, but here we go back We say the magic words backwards to return 'COUNCIL' SIRESW - ' c. - ' ,-- . l 0 I . t . The girls with those of the Senior Class, organized the first Girls Hi-Y of Kerhonkson under their class advisor, Miss Barnhart. They also won the basketball intranurais for girls, though they came up on the small end of the Junior-Senior game. The boys were more fortunate since six of their members play on the J.V. or Varsity. They improved their finan- cial status by the movie NLillian Russellu and the Junior-Senior sponsored Carnival on April 26th. They also were partners with Seniors in the big event, The Prom. With class rings on their fingers, the Class of '48 are looking forward to a senior year which will be a tire to remerber. . , F z , fl 13 President ------ Donald Dambois V.
