S, that worked diligently this year were Concert Band, Marching Band, Mixed Chorus, Boys' and Girls' Glee Clubs. Those participating were approximately 120, The K, H, S, Marching Band performed very well at the football games last fall under head majorette, Nancy Stoutner, The Concert Band presented two concerts this year. At State Contest this year the band played, Impressario and The March of the Ill Assorted Guards under the direction of Mr. Robert Steele, The band received a II rating. The Mixed Chorus of 59 also participated in several concerts this year, At State Contest the chorus sang, America Our Heritage and Cherubim Song, also under the direction of Mr, Robert Steele. The chorus received a I rating, At State Contest this year the Girls' Glee Club sang The Chestnut Tree, and When Love is Kind, They received a I rating also, The Boys' Glee Club presented The Song of the Jolly Roger, and Passing By, in which they also received a I rating.
