Andy Schneider, mining: John Ryder The Fiction Writing Club has maintained a simple purpose: to create a club where stiidents interne, in writing fiction could come to discuss their work and receive criticism. Begun by Paul Rovun Andrew Schneider the second semc-ter of 1988. the FWC meets every other week arid between 10-15 members attend. Although still in its beginning stages, the Fiction Writing Club has definite plans for coming years. There arc a lot of enthusiastic people in the club now and we expect to accomplish a lot ia the future. says Mike Garber who will l e co-presidcnt along with Dan Chadwick for 1988-89. B -soliciting more material from its members and placing greater emphasis on publishing, Garber hopes club will become more popular and successful.
