REVEILLE 1960 KENYON COLLEGE GAMBIER, OHIO ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-SIXTH YEAR VOLUME CV Editor John P. Kierzkowski Assistant Editor Frank S. Lovrien Staff Assistant Charles J. Berkey Photography Editor John C. Oliver, III Business Manager Stewart D. Brown 3 DEDICATION RICHARD GEORGE SALOMON M.A., Ph.D. (Berlin) L.H.D. (Kenyon) The 1960 REVEILLE is dedicated to Richard George Salomon who retired from the under- graduate faculty in June of 1959 to serve Bex- ley Hall as Cooke Professor of Ecclesiastical History. HANNA HALL LEONARD HALL COMMENCEMENT - 1959 Kenyon's one hundred thirty-first Com- mencement is here represented by the aca- demic procession. Once described by a fac- ulty member as endowed with pomp rival- ing a not small medieval coronation, Com- mencement is the culmination of four years devoted, primarily, to academia. Occasions such as Commencement and Matriculation represent the true purpose and tradition for which Kenyon stands—that of academic ex- cellence. 8 SPEECH BUILDING ROSSE HALL SHAFFER POOL PEIRCE HALL THE GREAT HALL I academically . . . F. EDWARD LUND SEVENTEENTH PRESIDENT OF KENYON COLLEGE A.B., M.A. (Washington and Lee) Ph.D. (Wisconsin) LL.D. (Birmingham Southern) The prime justification for Kenyon's existence is the excellence of its academic program. This is a simple truth upon which I am sure we are all agreed; and yet it is very easy to lose sight of our common purpose in the day-to-day life of the College. Short-range, immediate concerns may not seem more important, but they do seem more urgent—election to the fraternity of our choice or to the office we desire in the student government; appointment to the coveted editorial post on a publication; selection as a starter on a varsity team; or perhaps merely the right girl's acceptance of our invitation to a Dance Weekend. A yearbook is, of necessity, devoted largely to these extras, for the academic program does not lend itself to pictorial variety. It is important then, to remind ourselves as we turn over these pages that the events recorded here would have neither reason nor being without the other, and larger, activity which brings us together: the pursuit of learning and (borrowing from the address given last year by David Riesman) of purpose. 16 F. (Harvard) fraternally. West Wing, long a center for experiments in administrative procedure, spent a rather quiet, if some- what painful year, for the Ancien Regime had fallen in the Spring of 1959. A young, squalling group, unversed in the ways of power politics, had seized control of all of the positions of governmental im- portance. The gleam of elation soon disappeared from the eyes of the young rebels as they were con- fronted with a social group composed mainly of identic entities. The old ruling class had either gone to meet their just reward, such as graduate school or the corporation, or they had withdrawn to the relative security of I got mine. Jack (for further information upon this position see Papal Bull, number two, of the year 1960, the report on students classified as second type). The new governmental organization voiced threats, issued orders, and put on their duelling swords, kimonos, mu-mus, loud yellow jackets, Lester Lanin hats, and Southern accents and rushed forth scream- ing, Come on in, Art. Have a beer and meet the fellows. Result: a general parlor clean-up and four pledges. Some advice was given on the proper methods of group leadership by an elder statesman who had been in hiding throughout the revolution. Some said he had been in hiding for the last four years; but the advice this person, disguised as a scribe, undoubtedly prevented the rise of a state of anarchy. Unbeknownst to the sophomore insurrectionists, the surviving members of that august group, the malcontents, had been receiving visits from an old member (once known as the biggest leech in West Wing; now known as the biggest leech period), mail and instructions on counter-revolutionary procedures from an aged monarch in exile, and texts upon the subjects of how to deal with rock and roll fans, ro- mantic sentimentalists, and ridge runners. When the time was ripe, the blow was struck and the divine monarchy returned to safe hands One note of sorrow in this moment of joy: the new vice-president, chief advisor on the standing of Proctor and Gamble, lost his best copy of Little Richard in the hectic moments following the discovery of his election. Oh, yes,’if anyone sees a rather bewildered looking wrestler, point him in the direction of West Wing. He's got the minutes, and we're still wondering just what did happen last semester. 34 KAPPA EPSILON ROBERT G. HEASLEY Economics Hamilton, Ohio Lambda established at Kenyon in 1853 DELTA NORMAN W. Rushing was approached skeptically, yet we pulled nine out of the fire-two redheads and a Florida contingency startled the conservatives. Without the box the fourth floor was lost and remained in close 38 communion with Wesleyan and L.E.C. to bolster their spirits. Geoffrey, in the process, acquired a new house in town, housemother included. Bert slept, Petie diversified, and Orbie opened the icebox. Kal read Camus while Reed looked to the South for entertainment, with Brothers Taft and Waters. The second floor opened a health bar, martinis included, and dodged the deluge of Lozzi's 15 mm. machine gun. Weys left with turn indicator knob in shirt pocket, while Rikes read maps and journeyed to London for a weekend. Ryder watched, as Knott reached for Berkey's trunk; Berkey rolled over. At twelve Ripers transferred to the Keg, as Schachs told stories and Guffy and Steve entertained for Clarence. Even Hough, stepping on his own toes, was amazed at Abel's likeness to Dischav. Sam created while Mason dreamed, and the Stiles Trophy was destroyed again. Brother Babb led the business in his VW as Fox shifted. Kierz bought the goodies, Tony drank rab- bits and met a stranger, and Brother Cole cheered. Don occasionally returned from the garage to find Russell wrestling with George. Lash would have loved it. Perhaps this is an illusion created by the absence of Willie, Bleecker, and the Clawsons, but in any event the madrigals and motets from the Downstairs Club have drowned out all our doings, save, of course, an occasional round of gunfire. More likely, the placid atmosphere is the natural outgrowth of our return to respectable Grecian standing among Kenyon fraternities, a fact which has made us appre- ciative of the several delights often sired by persecution. We were allowed to pledge this year, and parties, having lost their clandestine savor, became boringly legal. We took eight freshmen, most of whom show promise, despite an alarming predilection for beards and bad novels. Rambeau, once an outrageous drunk of almost legendary stature, moved off-campus, reformed unaccountably, quietly con- sumed the complete James Gould Cozzens, and now only Stridsberg rivals him for the Campbell Meek- er Cocktail Chit-Chat Award. Railroad Dave, not to say his ubiquitous scarf, inspired song and story, and he fairly ran away with the Rambeau Plaque for 1959-1960. We look forward to the Spring, the Faculty-Psi U. softball games, lodge-lawn parties, the Croquet Cham- pionships, and the ultimate initiation of our mentally questionable pledge class. This June, almost half of the fraternity will graduate, leaving a gap which some suspect (some hope) will not be soon filled. The news of the dissolution of compulsory chapel came as rather a sharp blow; we had just begun plans for our Fraternity Choir and were in the process of obtaining a competent arranger for the organization. 42 lota established at Kenyon in 1860 AUEN T. A desire to improve motivated Little One to visit Slenderella, while a desire for younger and perhaps happier days drew Whis and his famous laugh once again to the Gras —Schroeder continued in his artistic ways, even going so far as to captivate some of Wesleyan's finest, and for a while it was feared that the legend of Romero's irresistibility was coming to a premature end; but Jon rallied and his come- back was something we'll never forget—and who will ever forget Great and his disciples, or the rumor that he was really Frank Sinatra's forgotten son. Bob—To satisfy everyone, including those in training, Pete and Rick added King-Size Cokes to their icebox cache-Leahy's folk singing satisfied everyone, also, and comparisons with Big Bill Broonzy were inevitable. MONTGOMERY Biology Cuyahoga Fall . Ohio PHILIP H. NEWMAN Biology Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania GILBERT L. SPERRY History Kingston, Pennsylvania DELTA TAU DELTA The school year 1959-60 was a revolutionary one for Middle Leonard. The old regime was replaced by Beetle and Jimmy Hoffa; trials were the order of the day. Rushing was approached objectively, and twenty-one objects took the bait. All was not lost,, however, as Ingo Iredell proved that Delt supremacy was more than a legend. Ma Brown kept busy spreading rumors in the tradition of Johnny Ace while the wop from Akron cultivated a hair-lip. Pie chased the sangyman around campus to accomplish his diet, while parrot played hanky-panky. The favorite divisional pastime was trying to find swimmers out of bed after ten o'clock and still avoid angering the big O. Off campus activities were pursued with lust. Robinson's car made an unprecedented twenty-two trips to Denison before being abandoned in front of the Keg, and Beetle made a new yellow line in the road between Cincinnati and Oxford. Club 25 redecorated and kept on entertaining despite an occasional attack on the door by inebriated pragmatists. Sweet 16 bade farewell to the Gons who left to fulfill a dietary deficiency. Woody worked, and Hank was left with the task of bending a stiff treasury to meet the costs of Eastern visits. Darrell and Pat never did break up, and Posty continued to sleep in other beds. Globs dated a real pig, and Hoff- man chased his MG down the hill. Boigats and Happy Fat tried to outweigh each other while Maurer left to go skiing. Through it all Schnacks drank and made continued tragic trips to Lake Erie ending in his now famous soliloquy. Arch kept up the good work while Garr lost his pin to AT T. Binder joined the group in the cry for individuality and conformed to nonconformity. Thomas jug-headed everyone in reach, while Walt and Mary made the big step. All in all it was a mad year. The ever constant search for truths was carefully evaded while the water bags welcomed Ralph to the parking lot. The parties were overrun and undersupplied, but we vowed to do it again. 48 Chi established at Kenyon in 1881 JAMES H. RIDDLE Spaniih Pittsburgh, PennjylvanU ROBERT L. But in looking back over the year there are events which possess even greater interest. 52 A meeting place was established, and christened The Womb. This resulted in the formation of an elite club whose charter members were Spaeth, Hallenbeck, Murray, and Allison. Control of the Treasury passed hands from Scharon, the pseudo, to Spero, the real thing. Sabin, under the influence of the Banzai Bandits of McKeesport, mastered the pledges and vice versa. Several members took frequent journeys northward on Route 13. Knepper read his mail and Barber put his illegal car to good use and continued his membership at the Keynote. While Sharp and Heinzerling kept WKCO running, Winkler went to Physics class, and Wintermantel became the Matinee Idol of Mount Vernon. Armbrust went to Western, Rubin went to Lake Erie, and both proved themselves worthy of wearing long pants. Dudgeon and Eicher found life in Mather most enjoyable and in the meantime Van Hooser's constitutional pragmatism kept everything running smoothly. To the great disappointment of the group, Robert refused to stage another of his startling and en- lightening exhibitions which made him so popular last year, but Hobler more than made up for Robert's refusal by exhibiting heretofore unobserved attributes on Fall Dance Weekend with an assist from Hyde and friend. Weissman talked, Maclnnis talked even more, and Richmond, equipped with hip boots and a clothes- pin, waded in to same them, while Young (and Keever) worked diligently to secure the reign as King (and Queen) of Mather. It was a year, like all years, filled with those events that alter and illuminate our lives, and everyone was there—except Coates, who sacked through it all. JAMES H. As far as he was concerned, he did nothing unusual. Tiger is Tiger; he has no equal when it comes to roaring drunks. Some of the highlights of this year were: Two wedges signed a contract to produce squares; two weirds grew beards, one came off. Homecoming was a disastrous week-end for Theta Chapter. We were eliminated by the Dekes in the display contest, and a plague of thirteen pigs from a small Ohio River college descended upon Theta Chapter. T.P. had a blue ribbon porker. Speaking of pork, Wein is off pork and has be- comes a beef eater. Meanwhile, Cap'n Dan went out for Rotifer and composed two new movements to the 1812 Overture. The gunner is aiming for higher targets, while C.B. acquired a blanket, and lost a trans- mission. Porky started using Old Spice; the Mangier returned; and Maverick, up to his old tricks, acquired a family of meeces. The fire escape provided box seats for observation of Mite's fiasco, and Page dis- played his talents to Dogpatch. Ruthie's efforts were rewarded with a most original Valentine from friend Gale, but not before 'Gor, president of the S.F.T. Committee, went tripping through the meadow muffins. Everly has been going into town bare-headed, while Dragon was forced to toe the line by Slug- ger Nordju, and someone was eating peanuts. Brother Holland started off the list of Phi Kap's accomplishments by providing Theta with a top notch pledge class. The faculty cocktail party and the Fall Dance Weekend parties, without a doubt some of Theta's best this year, are a tribute to Joe Everly and Bill Waldron. Thanks to Brother Roane's hard work and skillful management, the Thetagrams have improved in quality and quantity. We are now anticipat- ing another fruitful year. DELTA PHI The year got off to a slow start in Middle Hanna, but eventually the brothers stopped retelling of their summer experiences. Finally rushing turned our attentions to the present. Weber rushed while the rest of us talked to our dates. Somehow we managed to get a pledge class, and things returned to normal. Eaton dropped down from Northwestern for an occasional visit, and to make sure that the college was running smoothly. 58 LAMAR M. HILL DAVID O. McCOY ARTHUR M. Hill organized a mock convention and Berle organized everything else. Weld and Abbott ran up phone bills equal to the national debt. King built a hi-fi so that no one on the second floor could study, while Witherspoon's set made studying equally impossible for the first floor. Coupland made popcorn. Alexander bought a car, and Hoge took six of everything. Heintz flew above the clouds while Scudder studied them from the ground. Moody built scenery and Pellman directed a play. McCoy washed dishes and Hawley slept. Fuller conducted esoteric discussions on the first floor over Haase's laughter. Chaplin studied. Smith pre- tended to, and McBride drew pictures. Walcavich wandered about the halls looking for someone to con into intramurals. Burrows answered the telephone. Chase took over duties as social chairman and intro- duced the chapter to cocktails. We approved as did everyone else on campus. Pharis climbed through the parlor windows. Orchard read his mail. Camp tried old fashioneds, but Learned stuck to beer. Cleveland and Huntington played soccer, while Kraus managed the basketball team. Woods played basketball for the fraternity and Deardorff argued religion with the nuns at Mercy Hospital. Fleming took flying lessons, Ackerman practiced Yogi. BRENT E. SCUDDER Physics Gambier, Ohio WILLIAM M. MOSBROOK Political Science Wilmington, Delaware TERENCE H. BERIE Economic Ccdarhurst, New York FREDERIC D. HAWLEY Spanish Shaker Heights, Ohio EDWIN H. EATON JR, Economic Bethesda, Maryland ARCHON The academic year 1959-60 saw little change in the activities at South Hanna, although many of the less reactionary Archons forgot our motto is Esse quam videri, not Videri quam esse. The Greek Ideal (whatever that is) was pursued with enthusiasm (what ever that is) by a few of the less stoic Archons, but no harm was done other than giving Bob's room a very distinctive odor which the more fortunate Archons have been unable to identify. It was discovered this year that although water may be great for the release of inner tensions (we know what those are), it causes a most unfavorable reaction with grouchy sophomores and seniors. Some- one suggested that a few of the members had participated in intramural athletics for the glory of the frat, but these rumors were soon squelched when it was announced that we had again won the scholarship trophy (wherever it is). And it was amply demonstrated by a few of our brothers that a task and a job are not the same thing. Although most of the Archons plodded along toward the Bright Star of Truth (whatever that is), a couple of our more anxious members were distracted by the first rays of dawn in the East, and a half dozen pledges could see no reason for keeping the eyes of their minds awake through the long night. After a studied analysis of the situation, however, it was concluded that this year does not mark the passing of the Old Archons, even if they could no longer promise a keg (whatever that is) in every room. 61 JOHN L STANLEY Political Science Rye. The year started: some arrived early with shovels; the rest followed after the initial entrenchments were made. Someone said, Rush, and we thought that would be novel. All closets were emptied for it was decided to have Poor rushing. For the third rather riotous rushing party we joyfully gathered a jazz combo, formulated a field of fancy-footed females, dragged out dark, dark beer, and opened the door. The midnight count- ten chimpanzees, nine mated pairs, eight learned men, seven out-house boys, six mooing cows, five little chicks, four swave cats, three sloppy hats, two lifting brothers, and love birds in a pear tree. Virtually no freshmen. It was a great year for travel. It all began with Columbus, Ohio, not Christopher, continued to New- ark, Ohio, not New Jersey, passed lightly at Gambier, shot up to Canada, then east to New York, south to Carolina; the year will culminate by rowing to that other continent just due east. Local travel was managed by a VW held in common stock, one English mongrel, three domestic brands, and a victory bike. Ping-pong came with epidemic force, and we rushed to Bexley to play during their evening prayers. As usual, bulletins were sent throughout the East to the alumni—all twelve of them. Sue's answer phone terminated with the installation of two additional telephones in upper North Leonard. The soccer season ended, and half our pledges became men again. Chapell made his frequent trips across the hall. Preuss cleaned the room before tests, and Harold wrote his girl exactly one million times. Henry failed in ge- ometry, forgetting to square one of the sides, and North Leonard II opened a restaurant to feed its traffic. Marty Skinner led us down path, usually on the wrong foot, but somehow we managed to leave this year on the right one. 64 J. THOMAS MOORE Philosophy Pone City, Oklahoma ARI O. PREUSS History San Marco , Guatemala Alpha Lambda Omega founded at Kenyon In 1957 MIDDLE KENYON ASSOCIATION Another year has successfully transpired in the halls of Middle Kenyon, and the group has lived up to its reputation as the greatest group of malcontents on the campus. On the first floor a flurry of mimeograph communiques were issued in another frustrated attempt on the part of that offspring of the D.A.R., the Y.P.S.L., to quell once again the iron hand of discipline in the name of the student body. Rumor has it that certain members of the first floor have had their win- dows nailed shut, but there is doubt as to the actual truth of this statement, although unused bars of soap have been found in wastebaskets from time to time. The second floor was the main scene of athletic events with indoor frisbee being replaced by that old M.K. standby, hallball. It was believed that members of the Ghetto were going to run out Vergilii ana the Wop, but when Zones and Vinzones decided to remain in their ivory of the fourth floor, the members were unable to amass enough of a force for this monumental undertaking . . . alas! The third floor, meanwhile, was the scene of great literary and philosophical debates rivalling even those sponsored by the Kenyon Symposium. There was also a coronation for the new King of MKA, and some say that he could be worse than Barton King the First Hoexter, but there is little basis for this kind of talk. On the fourth floor, the Middle Kenyon introverts dwelt in relative peace and security save for the occasional blaring of Murray's and Muenter's hi-fis in the full heat of battle. In all, it was a good year; we were third in the academic standings and somewhere above the Archons in the jock listings. The television remained intact, thank God, parties were given for those who wished to escape the wrath of the judicial board, and most of us survived ... somehow. 66 HOWARD N. This is a difficult task indeed, and often the mem- bers feel as though they are throwing pebbles into the Grand Canyon. THE PAN-HELLENIC COUNCIL Amidst the cheers of happy students this council of learned young men provide during the fall direction for such diversions as rushing, always keeping the fresh- men's interests uppermost in their minds. The rest of their time is spent in accusing each other of breaking their own rules. ACROSS: Hartmann, Rizzo, Bradthaw, Duvall, Price, Eaton, Swartz, Lehmann, Harvey, Rich- mond, Babb. FRONT ROW: Pago, Rom, Charles, Chase, Fire, Skinner. BACK ROW: M. Roberts, Spero, Burrows, Stevens, J. Moyer, S. Scott, Kasson. THE CHASE SOCIETY These stalwart freshmen and sophomores, resolving to keep Philander's name lit by bearing the torch of the Good Deed, help to promote improved Town- Gown relations. They do this partly by giving an Orphans Party with lots of gifts, but mainly by buying said gifts from Mt. Vernon merchants. THE SENIOR SOCIETY It was felt for several years that something more than a mere degree was de- served by the four-year faithful at Kenyon. Several extra-neat guys started what has become Kenyon's secret society. The only visible advantage to non-members is the fact that Senior Society looks quite good on your graduate school application. ACROSS: Van Hooter, W. Taylor, Taft, Cox, Kalitone, Reed. THE REVEILLE One of the less-known functions of this group (the literary, artistic, and photographic elite of Kenyon) is a se- mantic one. Each year they succeed in keeping alive the obsolete pronunciation for the morning bugle call. This group is responsible for the founding of the Gambier Ulcer Clinic. FRONT ROW: S. Brown, lovr n. BACK ROW: Kierzkowtkl, Borkey, Oliver. THE COLLEGIAN The Collegian is not out of step, it is merely marching to a different tune. Most students are aware of the problems in producing a bi-weekly newspaper. The Collegian staff would like to thank those fortunate students helping it put out six pages a month; the staff would also like to thank the faculty, a prolific group of letter writers, for the other two pages. Waugh, Eaton, Hartmann, Rolan, MacAdam, Prica, long, Spain, Charlas. SEATED: Stanley, Walch. HIKA The literati of Kenyon have gotten together to publish, thrice yearly, their works in a little il- lustrated pamphlet with an ob- scure title. Next year, however, according to the editors, Hika may be published as a picture postcard, unless the rule regard- ing crossword puzzles is changed. 85 ACROSS: H. Cola, Papa, Van Hoo ar, Rambaau. Spaath. Klainbard. 86 FRONT ROW: Van Ne t, Maclnni , Rubin. BACK ROW: Richmond, Field , Weinman. THE DEBATE SOCIETY Whereas, the Debate Society takes many, long quasi-vacationary trips each year and Whereas, on some of these trips choice members of the opposite sex are en- countered Be it resolved, that the name of this organization be changed to the Rebate, Circulate, Debate, Date, and Chowder Society. THE PRE-LAW CLUB Some years ago Mr. Jockey and Mr. B. V. Dishabille advised American youth that there was a fortune to be made in briefs. Considerable misunderstanding arose, and, lo, a new profession was born. The tradition is carried on in Gambier by this club, not to be confused with the local Garment Workers Union. ACROSS: Field , Hartmann. ACROSS: Berio, Eaton, Van Arcdale, Rector. Carlozxi, Van Epp , Hoiterman. THE ECONOMICS CLUB Although the great amount of time in club meetings often detracts from their general study of economic theory, nevertheless, this group has come up with some excellent plans for increased school revenue, such as the raising of barley and hops in Marriott Park during the summer. Such work is indicative of the prac- tical application of economics. THE PRE-MEDICAL CLUB Stimulating lectures push these would-be shingle-hangers to higher grades and goals at Kenyon and higher fees in the outside world, where their motto will be Service to the (Restricted) Communityand they will dispense blue and pink candy pills for a variety of social ailments. ACROSS: Gooin, leiper, R. Goldman, Cave. THE ARNOLD AIR SOCIETY The Air Force blue around Kenyon may belong to this so- ciety. There are many responsi- bilities and duties connected with membership which these young men perform. They are, however, difficult to list. If the new bill granting ROTC cadets higher salary is passed, this group will begin a program of bi-weekly visits to Acapulco. BACK ROW: Sepere, Symons, Doergc, Gsle. FRONT ROW: Berle, Cept. Sommers, Moody. THE KENYON KLAN The minority group of the minority who wear their letter sweaters with pride have formed a mutual protection and admira- tion association. One of the bene- fits of membership in this group is the possibility of getting your photo, usually unidentified, in the basement of Peirce Hall. ACROSS: Muir, Hodgeson, Miller, Weidenkopf, Riddle. WKCO ACROSS: R. Goldman, Sabin, Hainzarling, Spinner, Richmond, J. Roberta, Katz, Sharp, Roth, Stilea, Charles. The oral siege of Gambier was planned. Several of the nightly attacks, under the guise of Va- riety Programming and A Full Circle of Entertainment, had forced their way over the hardy radio ramparts of the citizenry. Then, suddenly, the tide was turned when further assaults were foiled by the engineering staff, and the Voice of Kenyon was still. THE RIFLE TEAM The gunfire you hear in the secret backroom of the hanger is not, as you might suspect, the Flyers testing out new cannon for their aircraft. Nor is it the milk punch being mixed. Rather it is the Rifle Team, another blue part of the great blue Air Force family, working on new ways to punch holes in paper. FIRST ROW: Hsiif'wtd, J. C. Cr «. SECOND ROW: Carpenter, Woodb«rry. THIRD ROW: Mon«ll, Kullgrtn. BACK ROW: Moody, Hough, Ailon, Overmier. FRONT ROW: Newhall, S. Hcnhoy, Toff, Gund. THE FLYING CLUB The plane that the members of this club are pictured in front of is not theirs. They are fortunate in that they are taught in a plane which was used as a World War I trainer—or one at least as substantial. This group is larger than last year's; however, when the insurance rates come out, it is suspected that the number will drop considerably. THE KENYON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP Continuing the eternal battle between God and Satan, the Kenyon Christian Fellowship sponsored a series of discussions on education. Prominent scholars took the side of the Devil as well as that of God. In the second semester a less energetic program with one speaker at a time was undertaken. 90 vt socially ... 93 Our return met Rush ... and all the trappings . . . 94 and various sports. 96 good reason . . .
