Es- pecially significant is the beginning of construction of the first buildings on our new cam- pus. You have had a vital part in our achievements, We are grateful to the PORPHY- RIAN staff for describing for us the life and progress of the year. Blueprints for the brighter future and extended service of the College have been fash- ioned. The timeless character and tone of Kentucky Wesleyan are cherished by her sons and daughters and her friends, but the challenge for tomorrow is ours. We are confident that those who share in the honors and in the responsibilities of the College will support and sustain her with their love and loyalty. Let us enjoy in recollection, under the guidance of the 1953 PORPHYRIAN, the events of this year, and let not change, nor care, nor time spoil our friendships with one another so closely intertwined now with love and zeal for Alma Mater.
