The track team under the able leadership of Coach Kenneth Gibson, has retained a dynasty in track and field here at Kentucky State College. Not only is the track team doing exceptionally well, but it has also taken on a new look. The new look is a women's track team, the members areg Barbara Croney, Marsha Smith, Brenda Grinard, and Deborah Edison. In the men's division, the mile relay team, consisting of Steve Jordan, Ronald Murphy, Allen Pinkston, and William Jones have received two first place, one second place, and one third place in four track meets. They set a new record at the Mason Dixon Meet with a time 3:17.4 In past years the track team has been under-rated, but the men and women comprising the teams are show- ing that they can keep the tradition of the T HOROBRED. track team alive.
