The Darsy, Nmeteen Twenty-One 3- -4-' 'gun rvrvlv W I4 1 rffff n:l:n i f 5 .sf VIRGINIA REEVES Owensboro, Ky. Ken-Co-Wom Staff, '19-'20: Secretary of Y. W. C. A.: Joke Editor of Annual: Baseball Leader of Senior Class: Prop- erty Manager for Senior Playg Cast of Senior Playg Gov. James M, Cox in K. C. VV. Presidential Campaign, '20-'21. Years is the charm of calm good sense. Virginia is the most complicated problem of the Senior Class. How can she sleep all through study hall and walk out every month with a straight A report card? Oh, that the rest of us had the key to the mystery! But she has something be- sides brains. She has a cheery, sunny disposition that has won for her the sort of friendship that will last. She is al- ways ready and willing to be of service and is the main prop upon which the fate of the weekly Y. W. service rests. She says she expects to teach next year, but who can tell? Page twenty-five 'l':32D --- CAROLINE VINCENT NOEL Frankfort, Ky. Basketball, '19-'20p Manager of Tea Room: Cast of Senior Playg Y. VV. C. A. Cabinet, '20-'21, Much study is a nneariness of the flesh. To most people Caroline is a dignified senior, but to those who really know her she is a jolly good pal, with a cloak of dignity to be assumed on occasions. Life for her would be a song were it not for the time she spends in vain effort trying to please a certain member of the faculty who is cruelly unappreciative. So closely linked are the careers of Edelen and Noel that it is impossible to mention one with- out the other. However, it seems that they are destined to spend the future with- out each other, else why all the time spent in learning to cook and sew? Here's to the Hershey Twins, a sure cure for the blues. fb

Ken-Co-YVom Staff: Cast of June Play, '19-'EOL Cast of Senior Play: Y. W. C. A. Cabinetg President of Senior Classg Member of Student Council, '20-'21. A,0'eclion warm and faith sincere, Ana' soft humanity are there. Mary is probably the most capable mem- ber of the class. Any movement which she is behind is sure to be a great success, and she never fails to help where help is needed. When Mary gets on a high everyone quits work to listen and laugh. With her keen sense of humor and win- ning smile, Mary is unusually attractive, and who can blame Beanie and Caruso for falling? MARY ALLENE MONTGOMERY Columbia, Ky. Secretary and Treasurer of Student Gov- ernment: Cast of June Play, '19-'20g Glue Clubg Cast of Senior Play, '20-'21. No one but her and heaven knows Of what she's thinking. Who could think of Allene without think- ing of the chemistry class? For two long years now she has been Miss Milroy's special pet. lndeed, the rest of us are quite jealous of the attention shown her. Allene has been prominent in clramatics and as a member of the Honor Board. Faithful to duty and loyal, too, she is one to be trusted with many things. She will walk through life slowly and care- fully, but she will be successful in what- ever she undertakes. Page twenty four

Glec Club. But still her tongue ran on: the less of weight it bore, the greater ease. lrene is a great talker, but she can also move when the occasion warrants it. That was proved by the haste in which she left the building when West Hall caught fire last spring. She is one of our four dear little home-bodies, and in home ec. she sees all of her plans for the future. Whetl1er it will be a pastry shop and dressmalcing establishment combined, or a home of her own, fate will have to de- cide. LAURA FRANCES ROGERS Covington, Ky. Still water runs Jeep. i Laura Frances is such a dignified young lady that she seems much older than her years. She always stands well in her clas:es, makes many friends, and has a surprising gift for saying funny things with a solemn face. l..aurie's constant repose of manner is her greatest charm, and we can easily imagine her capably presiding over some attractive little sub- urban home. -un-ul Page twenty six
