Through Junior College strife they come, With heads up, shoulders squared, To meet new trials, or work, or fun, Or problems never dared. As juniors gay they stepped along, With joy their way was pavedg Mid-years they conquered with a song, In triumph their colors waved. ln basketball they won their Dame, And helped the Odd's cause, For the Endowment Fund they pledged rh With a spirit that did not pause. Step exercises soon were o'er, And then Commencement Day, And merry juniors they were no more, But seniors staid and gray. With dignity they've borne the weight Of senior responsibility, And underclassmens wiles they dodge With much agility. For tea room and the senior play They gave their time and work, Not a single task that came their way Did this bunch of seniors shirlc. And when on graduation day They bid K. C. farewell, Let each one hasten on the way Which fates for her foretell.

Ask Birdie is a byword at K. C. W. Theres nothing she's unable to find, no situation she's unable to meet. We don't see how this old place could go on with- out her. Her shoulders are squared to all responsibilities, even if she does get reck- less sometimes and experiment with cow- bells. etc. Birdie is an all-round girl, and is especially distinguished as being the first member of the K Club. Blessed with a bright mind and attractive personality, she soon became the faculty pet of l9l9. Evelyn is a remarkably graceful dancer and possesses a great deal of dramatic talent.
