HEAVHVS HIIRIZIINS df? Y .Un --EN.-N In 1966 Charles Owston and Ed Burns founded the program that was to expand into the present HeaVen's Horizon min- istry. Upon Brother Owston's departure from K. C. C. Brother Ralph Lemmon assumed his duties and enlarged the scope ofthe ministryfrom a local radio broad- cast to a world-wide witness of gospel tape recordings. The Student Body felt the II1iI1iS'CI'y of this student-operated group so vital that Heaven's Horizon was awarded S400 in the Faith Promise Pro- gram for 1967-1968.

The Matheteuo Society, which includes every student, is dedicated to the pur- pose of furthering missionary work aroimd the world. In addition to keeping the stu- centsinformed concerning current mis- sion fields through monthly meetings , the Society sponsors an annual missionary rally and a mission banquet.
