This well qualified and courteous staff of eleven had the difficult and often tedious job of seeing that the school ran smoothly and efficiently. These helpful ladies were located in various parts of the building doing tasks ranging from processing the number and percent of absent stu- dents daily, weekly, and monthly to setting up counselor appointments and keeping track of textbooks. They kept busy filing, typing, taking inven- tory, answering telephones and even decorating the offices for the appropri- ate holidays. But most of all they helped students, teachers, staff mem- bers and parents with the everyday emergencies that occured. r Fujikaw 1.
