School . . . Rows of bright lockers. the pebbled halls and cement walls, overflowing with people passing between classes. We discovered special sanctuaries when we paused to contem plate the changes in our lives or com plete our homework. 7, On their way to their locker, Karla Neuen- swander, Gina Chugg, Sharlene Brown and Patti Broadbent travel down a crowded hall. 3. Classes . . . Speeding one hundred miles per hour in the driving sim ulaiors. the stale sweaig smell of the P.E. rooms after workout. I sat in classes. absorbed information and strived io understand.
