During the 25 years of her faithful devotion to learning, she gained a host of friends who admired her as a dedicated teacher and an understanding friend. As supervisor of Y-Teens for many years, she was loved and respected by all the girls with whom she came into contact. She will be sadly missed. The Y-teens goal is to build a better world by serving others. The club carried out a western theme the entire year and started out with a picnic at Boy Scout Lake in September. Five Girls went on the U.N. Trip to N.Y. City and reported on their stay at the Mother-Daughter Banquet. This year the Y-teens held their annual Children's Christmas Party and delivered gifts which the members wrapped themselves. Ellen's speech helped to hustle the Wildcats toward a tie game. Homecoming 1966 Spurred on by Queen Ellen, the Wildcats tied their Homecoming game with Van Wert, 8-8. The annual Homecoming Dance was held in the high school gymna- sium after the game. Lovely Queen Ellen was crowned by 1965 Homecoming Queen Sara Pyle. Miss Pyle was escorted by David Dear- dorff. 117 Valedictorian Salutatorian Honored Students Berna Busch, our 1967 Valedictorian, is a very active student. She is a member of National Honor Society, Y-Teens, GAA, and Pep Club. She is in the Senior Class Play and in Choir, just to name a few more of her activities. We are all very proud of her. Roy Walton also is a very able student. He is a member of National Hon- or Society and in the past has been on the Scholarship Team, in science fairs, prom committee. He won the Bell and Howell Qualified Projectionist Award also.
