The Hi-Y is a Christian service organization whose purpose is to create, maintain, and extend throughout the home, school, and community a high stand- ard of Christian character. To do this four goals are set: clean speech, clean sports, clean scholarship, and clean living. The Hi-Y sold ice cream at the Hardin County Fair, sold Christmas candles, had the concession stand for the W.B.L. Track meet, and played two basketball games with the Alger Hi-Y. The club members attended churches of various de- nominations during the year. President Chalfin receives gavel from Mr. Hackney as Chaplain and Reporter look on. The Biology Club is an organization whose purpose is to further its members' interest in nature and the conservation of nature. The members enjoy numerous local field trips with Mrs. Fullerton, their advisor, as well as an all day trip to a state park at the end of the year. The membership is open to any sophomore, junior, or senior who has maintained a C average in Biology. This year the group gave two baskets of cheer to local needy families and erected a Wildcat sign at Robinson Field.
