At last the night of the prom was here. I believe all our hard work we put into the prom turned out to be successful. Our theme was Paris by Starlight. Here we are again for our last year at K. H. S. We are Seniors now and, boy, do we feel wonderful. Some of us thought we would never make it. Our officers for the year are Bill Friedel, president; Jim Crates, vice-president; Bill Schwemer, treasurer; and Bob Smith, secretary. Mr. Martin was once again our class advisor. For our senior attendant we elected Grace McCullough to serve our Queen Sherry Buerger. We sponsored record hops after the home basketbal I games. Our Senior class play That's My Cousin starred Peggy Jol I iff and Darrel Phillips. Our class party was also held at Darrel's. The prom Marineland was given in honor of the Seniors by the Juniors. Senior Chapel, Baccalaureate, and Com m e n ce m e n t were the last activities of the Seniors. We have met many people and made new friends since we were freshmen. We will miss K.H.S. tremendously when we are gone. CLASS FLOWER CLASS FLAG KRAUS JEWELRY 7 - White gardenia 23

Ciana Hintonif In September of 1954, we, the class of 1958, entered K.H.S. as freshmen. Everything was so strange and different. This was our first year to participate in G.A.A., F.H.A., F.F.A., choir, and glee club, and the K.H.S. band. For our class of f i c e r s , we chose president, Bob Smith; vice-president, Dick Brielmaier; and secretary-treasurer, Ann Kaylor. Mr. Knollman was our class advisor. In November of this year we chose Barbara Modd to be our freshman attendant to Home- coming Queen Patsy Pemberton. In February we had our class party at the canteen. We are back again for our sophomore year, but not so scared as we were the first year. Bob Smith was again elected president with Bill Schwemer the vice-president; Kenny Wal- ters, secretary; and Jack Smalley, treasurer. Mr. Knollman was our class advisor again. Barbara Morrison represented the sophomores on Homecoming. Our class party with a Western theme was held at the canteen. We were allowed to join Y-Teens, Biology club, and Hi-Y this year. Our Junior year was the most thrilling of the first three. For our officers we chose the following capable Juniors: p r e s i d e n t—you guessed it—Bob Smith; vice-president, Ann Kaylor; and secretary-treasurer, Bill Schwemer. Mr. Martin was our class advisor. At the beginning of the year we began working toward the big event of the year- The Junior-Senior Prom. To raise funds for this big event, we held numerous drives such as: bake sales, a corn pick-up, chili supper, and we collected tax stamps. Betty Wolf was elected to be our attendant to the Queen. Sherry Buerger had the lead- ing role in our class play Anne of Green Gables. Connie Vermillion and John Van Bus- kirk showed their talents in the operetta Down in the Valley. Our annual class party was held in Darrel Phillips' barn. Compliments of OSBORN FURNITURE 22
