This humorous play was pre- sented on February 12 and l3, for the benefit of the new swimming pool: it concerns the Reardons, who are a typical American family whose eccentricities, if hilarious, are only normal. Each year the band participates in many banquets, contests and festivals. The band is made up of seventy-one mem- bers, lt was organized to provide worthwhile leisure time activity, to be a serviceable or- ganization for the school and community, and to teach cooperation and team work. ln some cases this experience may lead to a student's choice of music as a life's profession. Although Maxim de Winter s first wife Rebecca never appears her presence haunts the shy young second wife. The drama is concerned with-' the events which follow the discovery of Re- becca s body and with the effort of Mrs. de Winter to fit into her husband s world.
