It Was a great night, but everyone, definitely including the freshmen, was glad when it was safely a thing of the past. So passed our freshman year. Girl Reserve installation was a little more on the serious side. The boys began to appear in Iunior Hi-Y groups and F.F.A. teams. Dorsey Simmons and Floyd Cowen made the football team and earned themselves an excellent reputation as grid men. Mike Mustain, who is now in the service of his country, made the var- sity basketball team atter only a year as a reserve, so the sopho- more class was well represented.
