Officers of Student Council for 1955-1954 were: Ann Moser, president, Ellen Smith, secretaryg Susan Cleary and Mary Tracy, vice-presidents, and Mallory Hicks and Betty King, assistant secretaries. Miss Elizabeth Wilcox and Miss Elizabeth Hummel were the faculty advisors. This year the council emphasized, through the Friday meetings, the responsibility of each girl toward the group. Also, more active participation of the students in these meet- ings was encouraged. As the first project of the year, the council sponsored a mixer party in the fall. As her ticket of admission, each girl was required to wear a large sign, telling her name and class. Each class presented a skit, and a prize for the best was awarded to the sophomores. The practice of having seniors lead the Tuesday and Wednesday morning assemblies was continued, Other students accompanied the hymn singing. Fin! ww: V. Teller, Seager, Tracy.
