Kent-Meridian Junior High became a reality in September of 1951 with two grades - eighth and ninth. In 19511 with the completion of the net building, K.ll.J.H. became a three year junior high by adding the seventh grade. Every year K.ll.J.H. has grown in population, until this year we bulge with 780 students. Next year we expect an enrolment of about 850. Our faculty amber 33. prinzwaafs message At the close of another school year, your principal is pleased to commend you for the outstanding record of the 1955-56 student body. This has been a championship year in so new rays. Oar school is the largest it has ever been. The girls' and boys' athletic teams have been the best we have ever had. It has been a constant inspiration to observe a most harmonious relationship among and between our faculty and the student body. Upon the crmpletion of our new athletic facilities and a beautifully rs-decorated stage, our school plant will be in the best condition ever. le will miss our old friends, but wish them the best of success in the senior higm school.
