xThe Calendar and Assembly Committee mapped out a calendar each month which sched- uled meetings of all types, dances, assemblies and other important events. This information was posted in the office for the benefit of the stu- dens. Winnie Schmitz and Ted Montgomery, rep- resentatives to the Rotary Club, attended several meetings screening and selecting with the Rotary club, the girl and boy of each month. The students were iudged- particularly on the outstanding work they had accomplished 'during that month. Each boy and girl was invited to the business men's luncheon where o brief sum- mary on their plans after school was given. The Rotary Girl and Boy-of-the-Month selection began for the first time this Sepember and has proven to be very worthwhile. Mp- 'id The Rules and Safety Committee, working in cooperation with Traffic Court, organized the Safety Car Check held during November and December. All students wishing to use the parking lot had to have their cars inspected by the members and a State patrolman to make sure all required equipment was in perfect running order.
