They had fairly big heads And very huge feet. Pete's eyes were blue, He had a short tailg Getty McCrary. His whiskers were long, His ears like a sail. Trigger's eyes were pink, His little nose twitched. He got in lots of mischief And was very often switched. One night their mother told them Easter was coming 'round, And about the Easter bunny Bringing eggs without a sound. The next bright morning They were up at dawn, WHY, I CAN'T UNDERSTAND On the eleventh m onth, the elev- enth hour, and the eleventh day, All wars came to a n end.
