I 965 KENSTCNIAN Kenston High Chagrin Falls, Ohio Kenston has spirit. A spirit which is growing greater each year. The '64-'65 school year has been a great boost to our spirit. A large edition to our school has increased its facilities and our entrance into the newly- formed Chagrin Valley Athletic Conference has encouraged more interest in our sports program. If future student bodies are willing to work hard for their school, Kenston can have all that it sets out to achieve. The I965 Kenstonian is dedicated to the spirit of our school with hope that it always thrives. Well, its only natural for a class to have pride, but in the case of this class it is especially justi-fied. They have always been an energetic. fun-loving group with the best in- terest of their school in mind. A class with an above number of scholars and ath- letes, they have set an excellent example for their underclassmen. They're proud of their many accomplishments and contributions to the school. More a class of leaders than followers, future senior classes will find it difficult to emulate this class's academic and athletic leadership. The greatest asset of this class is their school spirit above all else. They have great faith in Kenston's future. Having experienced the growing pains of this school and suffered with it when it has been under fire, it is aware of its past weaknesses, but more significant of its bright future. We look for great things from this class as a loyal alumni. I2 - sys. 14 .N x --X sk Q A... V- QQ X Q www X K .wh ' . k- ,X gf- 1.1 X 5. in ...L - x LX, xxx W xx-fyffss, fi 3- ' if . mg. Her academic achieve- ment and extracurricular activities testify to her determination to represent her country Well and to learn as much as pos- sible about America . Maryflor's American family, the Robert Garners of Valley Drive, found her to be a welcome addition to their family. Rather timid at first she quickly became accustomed to her new surroundings and an ebullient member of the Towncriers, Girl's Basketball, Pep Club, and other clubs. Her eagerness and vitality has permanently endeared her to us all. wi?-, lf . .QQ -L ', 'Y' 1' , K-1Y'g 'N f 'Q-'- ,., -v' f Lx- it .yy HN., ,,,..1,5Q. i - .4 kg. 1... fit' -- gk.-If ,-7.-x.g.w.g,i Qfyi 1 .-f.1.Q,,g,vN,..-,3,N ,. His amiable personality has led to a close and profitable relationship between himself and the Kenston community. The Kenstonian ex- tends a warm welcome to Dr. Gregg and hopes he will be with us for a long time. Successfully guiding Kenston's future, the School Board never ceases to seek new and better ideas and programs which will improve our fine school system. To them we owe our deep grati- tude. Kenston's strong silent type, Mr. Klaisner, admirably fills the position of Kenston High's principal. A tall man with high ideals, Mr. Klaisner's able guidance accounted for a large part of the success of this school year. This is only his third year with usg we all hope there will be many more. No busy office could function Without efficient office workers. Kenston is fortunate to have the dedicated team of Mrs. Bieger and Mrs. Mallett. What would we do without them?
