Pfouts, C, Mason, Future Teachers of America The Future Teachers of America is a club com- posed of high school students in the grades 10 to 12 who are interested in the techniques of teaching or in teaching as a career. The first thing the club does is to have its annual installation, The members help out by substituting for sick teachers, hostessing, and introducing the speakers at such functions as Career Night and Col- lege Night. The club has the annual Christmas Formal in December, It does its annual two days of teaching in the spring, which consists of one day of observa- tion and one day of actual teaching, The members are given the choice of any grade from first to eighth, By this teaching they are given an inside view of the teaching profession, OFFICERS, L to R: K, Barnard, presidentg D. The American Field Service club serves an im- portant purpose in the school district, Now in its second year, the club assists the adults' A,F,S, Chap- ter in raising money and selecting students to be con- sidered for Americans Abroad Scholarships. L-R: D. English, president: J. Rudny, vice- The K-Klub is the varsity lettermen's club at Kenston. All sophomore, junior, and senior boys who have earned one letter are eligible for mem- bership. The members are expected to set an ex- ample, both here and at athletic events at other schools, for all Kenston students. This year the K Klub sponsored the Faculty vs. K-Klub basketball game as a money making project. The sponsor is Mr. Donald Havener. 8I
