Superintendent Although his concern must be with the whole school district and all the Kenston Schools, Dr. Hirshey has taken a great interest in the affairs of the high school and the high school students. His educational leadership has made itself felt in many ways during this year. Thank you, Dr. Hirshey! ..4hv--' Pr: n Cl pal Mr. Klaisner, during his second year as princi- pal, has performed his duties in a creditable fashion. His calm, considerate, direct approach to the prob- lems that have arisen have made these problems smaller than they might have been. He has taken great interest in student life and has often been seen at class, club, and athletic activities. He certainly deserves our respect, our admiration, and our pledge of future cooperation. JAMES MALE President vw by ,wi MRS . DOROTHY NICHOLS Clerk-Treasurer Duties and Functions Often under fire from the community, the school board tries to please ITIOSI of the people all of the time. The five- member school board and clerk, Mrs. Nichols, constantly try to run the school justly and efficiently. Among the school board 's many duties are to hire teachers and administrators, to make the budget, and to form school policy. These five men are to be commended for their efforts and public spirit. They are always open to public scrutiny, yet their jobs are curiously rewarding. 8
