Varsity Basketball STANDING, L, to R, -D, English, D, Clemens, D, Takacs, P, Barrett, P, Saiter, B. Hawley, R, Reichert, M Walker, B. Zisk. KNEELING: Mgr. R. Loscei, and Coach Krohn, The Kenston Bombers suffered a long, disappointing season, finishing with a 2-16 mark, The Bombers were hurt by the loss of outstanding sophomore, Larry Stubbs and senior Mac Smith, both of whom moved out of town. This, coupled with the fact that Kenston played a few really tough teams, constitutes some of the reasons why Kenston did so badly, The Bombers did, however, provide their supporters with a couple of respectable showings against Newbury and Solon. Kenston traveled tothe Class AA tournament at Euclid at the close of the season, The Bombers were hopelessly outclassed by this much larger school, losing 84-29. Coach Paul Krohn has three returning lettermen, Junior Paul Saiter was the team's leading scorer, and he will be returning next year with junior Paul Barrett and sophomore Rich Reichert, Paul Saiter was placed on the honorable mention All-Conference team, l00
