Spring Sports Track This year Kenston's Track Team hopes to beat its arch rival Burton in the count track m Th , , y eet. eir chances are good, as they have seven returning lettermen and several experienced players for the 1958 team. The letter- men include, seniors: Ron Derecskey - 440 yard run mile rela To W . ya m ennerstrom - discus, broad jump, Bob Freas - high jump, broad jump, mile relayg .Jim Barnard - distancesg John Nelson - shot put. The juniors include Bill Green - low hurdles, dashes, Steve Ferencie - high jump, mile run. The experienced players include,Phil Campbell, Bob Shade, Bob Janosko, Ed Rybicki, and Jim Adams. Baseball The outlook for the coming baseball season doesn't look too bad, as the Kenston team has five lettermen and a number of experienced players returning. This year, the team will consist of- Dick Ferencie itcher B b I . - p , o Soltes - third base, Tom Wennerstrom - second base, Steve Ferencie - center field, Fred Schled - right field. Other players are: Bob Freas, John Nelson, Chuck Stuckey, and Ted Meredith. Golf y Although the golf team has no returning lettermen it does have three experienced boys back from last year They are: Dick Ferencie, Steve Frencie, and Norm Siegel, With these boys as a nucleus Coach Fiorini hopes to build a successful team.
