MR. ANGELO GIANTURCO PRINCIPAL To the Student Body: Your yearbook, Compass '68, has as its theme, Ken- sington is . . . . Objectively, this theme is effectively portrayed in the numerous pictures which illustrate the broad spectrum of campus activities at Kensington High. Kensington is all of these experiences and much more. It has many facets impossible to register on film. Kensington is primarily a spirit,,, which manifests itself in many ways. It is the support you give to worthwhile causesg it is your friendly and courteous manner. It is your respect for the rights of others, your self-discipline and re- sponsible behavior. It is your sense of fairness and loyalty. Kensington is also your deep feeling of school pride, your appreciation of its fine building and secure atmosphere. Kensington is devoted teachers who insist on high scholastic standards and strong character development. It is a varied curriculum which prepares you to assume .a worthwhile role in our society. Kensington is four academic years of your teen-life, en- riched by the traditions and achievements of an illustrious past. For years to come, the ideals and standards of your Alma Mater will be a source of inspiration and confidence to you. Kensington is, figuratively speaking, your compass. Angelo J. Gianturco Principal 10
