Football Games of 1937 SEPTEMBER 25. ln the conference opener, Madtson Central, under the lrqhts of Breeze Stevens Fleld, upset the Reds of Kenosha 13 to 6. Kenosha domrnated throughout the game, reqtsterrnq ll frrst downs to Central's 4. Kenosha scored rn the second quarter on runs made by Covellr and Gordon. The Madrsonrtes tted the score at the end of the thrrd quarter when Potter returned a punt for 65 yards. Madrson scored agarn rn the last quarter on a pass from McCann to Potter. Sander reserved a pass from Potter for the extra potnt. OCTOBER 2. Under the lrghts at Horllck Stadturn, Kenoshas Red Devrls rebuffed then' hosts 7 to O, The Kenoshans rolled up a total of erqht frrst downs to the Scarlet and Grey's one.
