lFUUTlBAlLlL BAND , ,..,,c.1-- Above you see a picture of the Football Band, which was directed by Curtis Wilkerson, the director ot the Municipal Band. This aroup ot young people has added much to the enjoyment of the football games, both at home and at games they attended out of town. Their marching and skillful mane euverinq on the field proved to be very entertaining. They also played for all bond rallies, and were always anxious to cooperate in any school or civic activity. This year the drum-major was Medah Ann Stewart. Majorettes were Elberta Ann Ford, Io Barham, Myrna Lee Mayberry, Sarah Ann Garqas, Betty Sue Mclclaney, lo White, Charlene Byrd, Shirley McDonald, and Billie lean Wheeler, who led the Pep Club. HllGH SCCHUOL CHORUS The Chorus classes this year, composed of approximately l75 pupils, under the direction of Miss Priscilla Wilson, have been very active. During the Yuletide holidays various groups served as Carollers for our townspeople. Plans were under Way for a special Christmas program when the influenza epidemic forced our schools to close ahead of the scheduled time. Plans are now being made for a Spring Song Feast. The Kennett High School Trio, composed ot Belle Darwin Fuller, Helen Richardson, and Dona Rae Ford, will sing Three Little Maids from School. Girls Chorus will sing As Torrents ln Summer, Calm As The Night, Hark, Hark The Lark, and Libestraum. The 4th hour mixed chorus will sing Serenade, and Songs My Mother Taught Me. Boys Chorus will sing Give A Man A Horse He Can Ride, with Burley Horton as the soloist. Mixed chorus will sing Thanks Be To God, Lords Prayer, and Come To The Fair. Boys chorus will also sing Vevi L'Amour and Upidee.
