FOOTBALL JAMBURBB E1 The highlight of the football season was the annual Football lamboree. The Footbal lamboree, at which the Queen is crowned, has become an annual affair of the Kennett High School. Each year the Pep Club and Football Band are hostesses to the team. The Captain, Queen and the queens attendants are elected by the members of the football squad. The queen is usually a member of the Senior Class who served in the Pep Club or Football Band. Each of the attendants are also elected by the squad membersg one from each class, and they too, must be a member of either the Pep Club or the Football Band. The queen, Kathryn Williams, was crowned by Captain Charles Baker, in a beautiful coronation ceremony. The Queen's attendants and their escorts were: Senior Maid - Betty Chismy lunior Maid - Laverne McMunn: Sophomore Maid Betty Lou Boss, Freshman Maid Betty Chatham, escorted by Paul Wright, Zack Parr, Bill Smith, and loe Patrick, respectively. -21..s J si
